7 Top Items You'll Find in my Camera Bag

  1. Canon R6mkii - This is my new go-to camera! It helps simplify some of my older processes that I couldn't do with my older DSLR. There was nothing wrong with my older camera, except I had wants for features it didn't have the capabilities for.

  2. 24-105 lens - Yes, this was the kit lens that I got when I purchased my camera. I'm not ashamed to admit it. Most photographers say you shouldn't get a kit lens, but for me, it was affordable since I was switching brands and was replacing/upgrading all my equipment.

  3. 55mm lens - This is a manual focus lens and I am obsessed with it. I was using a nifty fifty on my old dslr, but this 55 is similar but different!

  4. battery packs and batteries - There is no way I could leave without at least two spare batteries and the battery packs to recharge the other camera batteries and phone and laptop.

  5. tripod - With my product photography and professional branding sessions, tripods come in handy so there isn't unwanted motion blur. Sometimes it might be the effect I am going for, but normally I want the clarity.

  6. back up sd cards - There is always the need for sd cards! I am that photographer who wants them all. When shooting multiple sessions, switching them out makes my life so much easier. Having the ability to save on multiple sd cards in camera makes it easy having a backup to give to clients (for an added price, of course!)

  7. MacBook Pro and smartphone - I am able to simultaneously upload my photos from the camera directly to my MacBook. Plus I can use my phone as the remote shutter. Added bonus for selfies as a busy business babe who is always on her phone.
