Failure isn't a Ruined Opportunity

Failure doesn’t mean your business / life / relationship / goal is ruined. 👆

Trust me, I know when you experience a tough moment, your whole world shatters. But I also know these moments aren’t a rarity – they happen all the time!

Most recently, I had a difficult experience and it covers each one of these topics. 💥

Business-wise: I had to set pricing and this feels like a failure to me. This will be the first time I’m really charging anything near my worth. Failure feels different for everyone, but my deal is when I charge, I was feeling like I was taking the fun out of it. I felt like I was doing my clients a disservice. Where I learned though, I was doing them a disservice by not really putting a value on the services I was offering.

Life-wise: I had a good long term friend who we had to make difficult decisions. We are no longer hanging out. I taught myself just because people may come and go, my life doesn’t end with that. (This is super tricky and difficult for me!)

Relationship-wise: I decided to make a turn and really put some dedication into a blooming relationship. There are fears and doubts, but he’s worth the role model I know he can be towards my daughters. Taking chances will show me how much I’ve grown through some guidance from previous friends.

Goal-wise: I’m working towards so many things I had just about given up on. There were so many different things I had put on hold for whatever reasoning. Fear, guilt and lack of confidence. Now I’m pushing through it because the reward is going to outweigh the risk in my eyes.😃
