How to have a Fantastic Family Friday Session with Me

There are days when it’s hard to even think about getting photos of your family done.

You are still thinking about the financial hit, what you're not going to be able to do for a while, how your kids (or pets) are going to act, what happens if you don't get the pictures you want.

In moments like these, it is easy to feel like it will always be this way forever.

But you don’t have to let that day win, you can fight back!

Here are some of my favorite ways to shift your mindset from “I can’t” to, I absolutely CAN!!

⭐ Tip #1 – Find coordinating outfits. Either neutrals, monochromatic or a pop of color if the background is going to be plain.

⭐ Tip #2 – Acknowledge the fears and then use them. Be yourself! Have fun.

⭐ Tip #3 – Remember to fill out the surveys your photographer (me) sends to you so I know more about your family and we can modify things around you specifically.

⭐ Tip #4 – Understand that these are supposed to be fun and candid. Let your hair down and remember your family isn't perfect. Don't worry about perfection, think about these moments you spend together.

⭐ Tip #5 – Accept these memories won't be around forever, but they are frozen in time for you. Family times can get far and few in between with the hustle and bustle of life.

Do you also struggle with worrying about what is going towards the back burner?

I know that I struggle with this at times as a parent myself.

What helps you shift your mindset? Share in the comments so we can all benefit!

I decide to take a day to spend with my kids. We get outside and take pictures. I capture these moments and also remember to participate in them too!
